About Us

Parnell RSC Interior

Small, friendly Returned Services Club where visitors are always welcome! Unfortunately, we do not have any parking but we are very close to Inner and Outer Link Bus Stops which will aid your travel.

Any and everyone is welcome to our Club to relax and enjoy a quiet refreshment and perhaps partake in a game of darts or pool. We are open currently 5 days a week from 3:00 PM.

We are often asked why we are an RSC and not an RSA. RSC is Returned Services Club. The main difference between RSC and RSA is that the RSC acknowledges the Merchant Navy as Returned Service Persons. There are only two RSC's left in New Zealand and they are Grey Lynn and us.

Events

Keep an eye on this section for any special events that we may have going from time to time. Sometimes we have live music on a Friday Night and some Sundays we may have a speaker present.

Friday Night is our Club Member Number Lucky Draw night. At 6:30PM we draw a number out of a pool that contains every member membership number, and should you be there and be able to present your card you win the pot. Each week that no one wins it jack pots an amount. Additional to that draw there is a $40.00 hard luck cash draw up for grabs. The Club Member Number Lucky Draw is only available to fully financial members of the Club.

Friday Night is also our raffle night, and this usually follows the format of 40 tickets @$2.00 each winner takes $50.00. All proceeds to our Welfare Account whereby funds can be used for Condolences or Get-Well cards.

Jag the Joker also runs on Friday nights and the pot is dependent on the night. Thursday nights is our Fishing Club Raffle night and depending on patronage, we might run a pool comp.
